Of course you do need to be taking good care of your teeth. You should be using a whitening toothpaste and brushing your teeth at least 3 times a day, especially after meals and before bed. Brushing and flossing can help clean the enamel on your teeth, which helps to whiten them.

Prices vary, so you can find one that looks good for you. Just remember to only stick with one product at a time so you can see what is working and what isn’t.
There are a couple old home remedies you can try too. While they don’t work as well as whitening products, they are still helpful. One method is to mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and brush your teeth with that. It can be a little hard on your gums though, so if you have sensitive gums you might want to find some strawberry pulp instead. Strawberry pulp has a slight bleaching effect, and it is more gentle on your gums.
Don’t forget your dentist if you really want good results, either. Laser whitening treatments might be a little expensive, but they will give you the best results available.

While some of these sites may seem a bit scammy, most of them are actually legitimate sites and do offer free samples or trial supplies.
The reason is pretty simple. Crest and Colgate and large brands can sell simply because of their well known brand names, but smaller companies don’t have a big reputation yet. In order to build their reputation and customer base, they often start out by offering free samples of their products.

Professional Teeth Whitening Treatments
There are tons of ways to whiten your teeth-you can try some of the old fashioned home remedies, use the various whitening products on the market, or pay to have your teeth whitened. If you really want great results, your best option is probably to have a professional teeth whitening treatment at your dentist.
Laser whitening treatments are what most dentist use to whiten your teeth. The process involves starting with a fairly regular cleaning and check-up, but then they move into the whitening process. The dentist puts a special peroxide based gel on your teeth and then they use special lasers to shine on your teeth, which when it reacts with the gel, will effectively bleach your teeth.
It is a pretty quick process and usually takes less than an hour, but the results will stay for years and you will have great looking teeth. However, the price is also something to consider. Professional teeth whitening treatments like this can cost up to $2,000 which is why many people prefer to try cheaper methods of whitening their teeth first.

Blue Light Teeth Whitening
If you can’t afford to go to the dentist and get your teeth professionally whitened with the fancy laser whitening treatments, there may be a slightly cheaper alternative for you.
In recent years, there has been a new type of treatment called “blue light” teeth whitening, or “light activated” teeth whitening. This works in basically the same way that laser treatments work at the dentist, but it is a bit scaled down and doesn’t require as large of equipment.
In simple terms, they put a special cream on your teeth, and then you sit for a while with your mouth open and exposed to a special “blue light” (although not all are blue!). The radiant light reacts with the cream on your teeth, and this in turn bleaches your teeth.
Some companies have even tried making “blue light home kits” so that you can try these treatments at home. There is one product that has a small denture shaped light that you wear after you put the cream on your teeth.
This is a cool new way to whiten your teeth. It gives you fairly professional results and generally doesn’t cost as much as having a dentist do it. Finding these home kits can be a little difficult though. My personal recommendation is still just to brush regularly and try one of the free whitening products available online, such as Dazzle White.
