There are tons of ways to whiten your teeth-you can try some of the old fashioned home remedies, use the various whitening products on the market, or pay to have your teeth whitened. If you really want great results, your best option is probably to have a professional teeth whitening treatment at your dentist.
Laser whitening treatments are what most dentist use to whiten your teeth. The process involves starting with a fairly regular cleaning and check-up, but then they move into the whitening process. The dentist puts a special peroxide based gel on your teeth and then they use special lasers to shine on your teeth, which when it reacts with the gel, will effectively bleach your teeth.
It is a pretty quick process and usually takes less than an hour, but the results will stay for years and you will have great looking teeth. However, the price is also something to consider. Professional teeth whitening treatments like this can cost up to $2,000 which is why many people prefer to try cheaper methods of whitening their teeth first.
You don’t need to go to the dentist to get whiter teeth though. My personal recommendation is to try one of the free teeth whitening trials available online. There are lots of different companies that give away small samples or trial supplies of their newest whitening products.
One of my current favorites is called Dazzle White. It is a whitening gel-pen that you use to rub the gel on your teeth and then rinse it off after your brush. It works great and doesn’t taste bad like some gels out there.
